From clunky beginnings in Irish dancing through to gymnastics, cross country running, and competitive aerobics, Cobie ended up finding her way to contemporary dance and choreography. Her work has been presented locally and internationally, and she has collaborated with artists from diverse fields such as visual arts, music, film, design and theatre. Over the past decade her physical practice has expanded even further resulting in a dedicated boxing, yoga and kettlebell regime which ultimately has led to her progression into personal training. She thinks of her group classes and 1:1 sessions as a mashup of all these modalities which are fun and challenging and encourage new and expansive ways of moving. Cobie's qualifications include a Certificate III and IV in Fitness, Levels 1 and 2 Fundamentals of Kettlebell Training, a Bachelors of Arts in Dance, Performance Studies honours,
Little known fact about Cobie: In 2000, Cobie won a trip to Greece by dancing the Zorba non-stop for over an hour.
