Kate played 12 different sports by the time she was 16 years old and was a state qualifier in both soccer and javelin. Alongside this, she developed a long standing yoga practice and eventually found Pilates when she needed injury rehabilitation. She had such good results from Pilates that she decided to train as a Pilates instructor to help others achieve similar success. She has a Diploma of Clinical Pilates and Certificate IV in Pilates and Fitness through Breathe Education and is a PAA (Pilates Alliance Australasia) member.
In her past life, she had a seven-year history in the arts (producer, curator, administrator, board member) in both Brisbane, London and Melbourne.
Little known fact about Kate: She bakes elaborate gluten free desserts. Her tour de force is a Chai-spiced chocolate and pear cake.
