SARAH GRIMSHAW
Sarah has a deep knowledge, both innate and clinical, of bodies, making her assessment and teaching skills second to none. With simple programming but extremely specific cues, she gets amazing results for clients. She's been developing her magic powers ever since she was 12 years old, leading the smaller kids in gymnastics and dance drills. Her own movement background includes classical ballet, ballroom and running. She was a professional performer and salsa teacher for many years.
Today, her keen interest is counselling (currently studying an MA in Rehabilitation Counselling and Psychotherapy), and how this can be combined with movement. She truly believes that the mental and the physical are intertwined. When she considers clients, she looks at them from a bio-psych-social approach, which is really a fancy way of saying all aspects of someone's life and physical being.
Sarah is a Level IV member of the APMA (Australian Pilates Method Association), was certified through their education body and now sits on their education committee.
